Insight in Vietnam
On Friday evening 20 April 2007 the we took our staff (http://www.insight.in.th/eng_aboutus.html) from Insight Education Consulting (www.insight.in.th) on a long weekend trip to Hanoi. We flew Air Asia (now everyone can fly) and arrived in Hanoi at around 10.30pm. Lina and Nat came along as well as they are now seasoned travellers. We had organised a package tour and were herded around in a bus to see the sights of Hanoi and beyond. On Sunday 22 April the Insight Team went to Halong Bay minus Jym, Greg, Natali and Lina. We thought it was just too long in the bus for the kids. Instead we stayed in Hanoi and had a leisurely day which included eating Pho, shopping, shopping, shopping and more eating - and a little afternoon nap as well. We finished off the day with a beautiful meal in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. On Monday, in addition to yet more sightseeing, we celebrated Lina's 6th birthday. It is hard to believe that she is six already! Anyway, we had a very big day and by the time we left Hanoi at 9.30pm we were all exhausted, but happy. It was Shanghai last year, Hanoi this year so now we can start planning for our trip next year. Anyway, here a few happy snaps of our trip.

Jym just loves Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho). We finally managed to find time in our busy schedule for her to sit down and enjoy a bowl of Pho.

Crazy Songkran - Thai New Year.

Songkran - Thai New Year gets crazier each year - water fights rage on for 3-4 days. The idea is to get everyone as wet as possible and throw is some talc as well. No one is spared. All valuables are either left at home ir stored in a plastic bag. It is perfect weather for this festival - 36C and 110% humidity!

Guest Speaker
At our recent Study English in Australia seminar Lina O'Neill was guest speaker. Here she is with her Mama discussing the different accents Thai students are likely to hear in Orstraya. Lina's advice to Thai students. 'No worries, she'll be right!'

We recently held a seminar at the office and it was Nat and Lina's job to ring the bells when the speaker had two minutes left to speak. They took their job very seriously.

Koy and Mr. Sing
