On Sunday 15 July we headed off to Safari World with our good friends (and neighbors) The Dumont family, Patrice, Murielle, Elia, Aurienne and Mr. Rafael along with our brood Mama (Jym), Papa (Greg), Lina and Natalie. Safari World is on the southern edge of Bangkok about 4o minutes drive from home. We hired a van with a driver and settled back for the safari. The park is set on about 500 rai (200 acres) of land and consists of a marine park and an open zoo. We all had a great day despite the heat and crowds. After about three hours wandering around looking at all the exhibits we set off for a drive around the open zoo. Lots of rhinos, zebras, deer, tigers, lions and pelicans!
