Visit to Roi Et

The Name Roi Et translates to 101, which refers to the original 11 satellite cities around the main city as well as the 11 city gates. To express the importance of the city the number was exaggerated. It is the 11th largest city in Thailand with a total population (including surrounding villages) of around 1.25 million people. It is located about 400km north-east of Bangkok. we have some friends that live there Petuk and Nok (Papa and Mama) and their two boys, Poo and Woody. Nok and Petuk have an electrical supplies shop.
