Insight in Vietnam

On Friday evening 20 April 2007 the we took our staff (http://www.insight.in.th/eng_aboutus.html) from Insight Education Consulting (www.insight.in.th) on a long weekend trip to Hanoi. We flew Air Asia (now everyone can fly) and arrived in Hanoi at around 10.30pm. Lina and Nat came along as well as they are now seasoned travellers. We had organised a package tour and were herded around in a bus to see the sights of Hanoi and beyond. On Sunday 22 April the Insight Team went to Halong Bay minus Jym, Greg, Natali and Lina. We thought it was just too long in the bus for the kids. Instead we stayed in Hanoi and had a leisurely day which included eating Pho, shopping, shopping, shopping and more eating - and a little afternoon nap as well. We finished off the day with a beautiful meal in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. On Monday, in addition to yet more sightseeing, we celebrated Lina's 6th birthday. It is hard to believe that she is six already! Anyway, we had a very big day and by the time we left Hanoi at 9.30pm we were all exhausted, but happy. It was Shanghai last year, Hanoi this year so now we can start planning for our trip next year. Anyway, here a few happy snaps of our trip.
